MPT strikes again! Geez. I get goosebumps.
If you haven’t read about the GOP health care bill leaks, ladies, here’s a bit of news from the Baltimore Sun (opens in a new window). “It’s no coincidence that this rule comes as an all-male panel of senators meets behind closed doors to determine the future of women’s health care in America.”
Call your Senators and Representatives!
Even better WRITE them a letter. Why? Take a look at the New Yorker’s article on “What Calling Congress Achieves” (opens in a new window). An important quote:
“Unlike call volume, the data on mail sent to Congress is public, and it suggests that, at least among the politically active, the U.S. Postal Service remains popular; the Senate alone received more than 6.4 million letters last year. Contrary to popular opinion, those written communications are an effective way of communicating with Congress, as are their electronic kin.”
